Vacuum interrupter installation instructions

The vacuum interrupter,is the electron vacuum device which can achieve circuit making and breaking with a pair of contacts sealed in a vacuum vessel,namely called vacuum switch tube.It is widely used to control and protect switch in electric power,metallurgy,petroleum,chemical,mining,transportation and communications and other fields

1、Applications

1.Altitude no higher than 1OOOm,if need over 1000 meter,the user need to consult with the VI manufacturer before making contract.

2.Ambient temperature:indoor:-20°C~40°C outdoor:-40°C~40°C.

3.Relative humidity:daily average humidity..,;95%,monthly average humidity≤90%.

2、Acceptance Inspection

1.For package inspection, first, check the outlook/appearance of products after opening the carton box; second, make sure the parameters of product nameplate is identical with the parameters of certificate or not. The qualified product hasn't unusual noise when doing hand-shaking,with its glass or ceramic envelop completely and no mechanical damages.

2.For vacuum interrupter, a power frequency voltage withstand test need to be implemented before using. Clean the surface with a dry rag or alcohol-wetted wiping rag before test. Test specifications are as follows: pull the contacts to rated distance. keep applying the 75% of rated power frequency withstand voltage to the contact for one minute, and rise the voltage to rated power frequency withstand voltage in one minute, the products which can keep the index of indicating instrument without any suddently change and no trip phenomenon in one minute are qualified. A few spark and gleam inside of tube are allowed. When vacuum interrupter need outer insulation protection, implement the voltage test in the air following the table below:

3、Requirements of Installation and Using

1.The parts connected with the moving conductive pole should be installed first,and then fixed the vacuum interrupter.It is prohibited to mount the vacuum interrupter before turn the moving conductive pole,when fix up the screw stem which contacted to the stem,please fix the wrench position by spanner,so that the bellow can't be winded and deformed.Please don't shake the moving conduct electricity staff or impact the vacuum interrupter by hard substance after fixed it.

2.When vacuum interrupter is working,there must have a guiding device to make the coaxiality of moving conductive pole and tube's axis meet the demands,the three phase in synchronism,with no twisting force on bellow and no force on isolation shell from the horizontal,the force on glass envelop from vertical is not more than 1500N.

3.For installation of vacuum interrupter fixed terminal,to ensure the bolt and screw on the positive position,tighten the bolts,the torque can't exceed the specified torque values,as follows:

4.It is unnecessary to repair vacuum interrupter but keep the outside appearance clean.

5.For matched switchgear devices, the electrical, mechanical parameters are important assurance for steady and reliable working of vacuum interrupter. lt is need pay attention to reach the technical requirements of vacuum interrupter when designing of complete switchgear. And need regular inspection during running.

4、Maintenance

1.Vacuum interrupter should be kept in a ventilated,dry andnon-corrosive atmosphere room.

2.Vacuum interrupter must undergo regular inspection during storage,if with moisture or dust,should have a clean and according to the requirements to improve the storage conditions;if there is corrosion of the traces by harmful substances,check the vacuum interrupter immediately and consult our Sales or Quality Department to determine whether the vacuum interrupter to meet performance requirements or not,and can be used or not.

5、Accessories
The carton box should be accompanied by technical documents:
a) One product qualified certificate
b) One installation manual.
